From its very beginning, the mAgro Cluster has been one of the 200 European innovation hubs set up as “Digital Innovation Hubs” – innovation centres for agriculture.
The European network of these hubs is called Smart Agri Hub.
A Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) brings together:
- farmers and farmers' associations, as the beneficiaries of the Cluster's work;
- competence centres (universities, research institutes, experimental stations);
- one or more innovation experiments.
As part of a project submitted, approved and implemented under the Horizon 2020 programme, the mAgro Cluster supported Innovation Experiment 27, receiving 30,000 euros in funding for 2019–2020.
